The International Investment Consulting Center awarded Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) the Grand-Prix of Bona Fide Supplier 2011, an All-Russian contest, and placed the company on the Federal Bona Fide Suppliers Register, MMK PR Department reports.

This yearly contest’s key aims are to support the government’s policy on providing a competitive market economy and to develop the Russian companies whose business activities fit with the state-determined supplying standards. Recent certification audits confirmed that MMK can produce goods of the needed quality within contract-specified time limits and complies with the current Russian Federation legislature in the field of goods supply, work, and services.

The International Investment Consulting Center’s Director-General Nikolai Petrov sent a letter of notification to the enterprise that reads, ‘Congratulations from the heart on being placed on the Federal Bona Fide Suppliers Register for 2011 that was registered with RosStandard on November 19, 2009. Meeting the criteria laid out there is a guarantee of success and prosperity for any business!’

‘The very name of the category – Bona Fide Supplier – bespeaks the level of responsibility that MMK’s performance is based on. This highest estimate of our merits signifies that we do meet this level’s standards. Our company’s inviolable sales principle is being customer-oriented. I am positive that our strategy is the right one,’ says MMK Deputy Director-General for Sales Nikolai Lyadov.

In addition to the official congratulations, the contest coordinators awarded the company with a gold medal made at Goznak Moscow mint.
