Avianova’s Prices Go Drastically Up
26 September 2011 (11:15)
Avianova Airlines is going to raise the fares for nearly all of its flights dramatically; the change involves all the flights to be operated at the end of October 2011. One price of 19,900 RUR is now offered on many flights, the airline’s website states, whereas only a little while ago, prices started from only 250 RUR, Kommersant reports.
At the same time, Avianova has been cancelling its scheduled flights lately. Bazel Aero that manages the airports in the south of the country announced the carrier cancelled eight scheduled weekly flights.
The airline itself explains the changes have been brought about by ‘glitches in the booking system’, ‘switching to the new fares scheme’, and ‘the winter timetable’.
