EXPO 2020 in Yekaterinburg to Be Dedicated to Global Mind, Governor Misharin Says

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Alexander Misharin informed Head of Russian Government Vladimir Putin of preparations for the world fair EXPO 2020 application in Yekaterinburg.
The exhibition will probably be dedicated to Global Mind and the Humanity in a Universal Dialogue. This theme reflects the uniqueness of the Urals and of Russia on the whole as a country of educated people contributing to the scientific and cultural development of society,’ Alexander Misharin said.
The Head of Government asked the Governor to complete all the application preparation activities and said he was positive Yekaterinburg was a suitable city to host such a large-scale event.
Yekaterinburg’s application is expected to be ready in October.
