Ural Airlines’ Millionth Passenger Goes to Sochi

8 July 2011 (10:17)

This year’s millionth passenger traveled on board Ural Airlines’ plane today. The company keeps welcoming its special passenger increasingly earlier each year: in 2010, the millionth passenger traveled with Ural Airlines in August.

This has to do with the fact that Ural Airlines’ passenger turnover rose by 20%, so this year we expect it to exceed two million people for the first time in our history,’ the airline’s press service reports.

This year’s millionth passenger was Tatiana Berdyugina, who went on vacation to Sochi with her kids Juliana and Yaroslav. The company presented her with Wings bonus card that already has enough bonus points on it to travel to Sochi next year. What is more, Tatiana was given a portable DVD player.

All the passengers were also treated to a performance. Special clowns presented their tricks, played, and danced with the youngest passengers, and the company also presented them with company T-shirts, air balloons, and little flags, so the trip to Sochi turned into a real show for scores of little passengers, and they arrived at the seaside in an excellent mood,’ the company reports.

Tatiana Berdyugina was one of the first people to check in for her flight and did not expect to become the lucky passenger until the last minute.

This is the first time I have ever won a prize. I have traveled with Ural Airlines many times before, and now I naturally intend to fly only with you,’ she promised.
