Sverdlovsk Region division of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) found KB Citibank guilty of violating the existing Russian advertising law, the spokesperson for the Service Marina Yusypova said to an UrBC reporter. Yusypova explained the advertising text messages the bank had been sending to its customers without the latter’s consent actually violated Article 18 (part 1) of the Federal Advertising Bill.
