UrBC, Yekaterinburg, November 15, 2019. Rosatom/TVEL’s Novouralsk-based asset CentroTech supplied a set of ultra-fine filters to one of Roscosmos State Corporation’s member enterprises. The filters will be used as components of special-purpose equipment working under overpressure (up to 40 MPa), Ural Electrochemical Combine’s press service reports. The filters are used to eliminate mechanical impurities over 5 micrometers large from gases that are chemically resistant to the materials the filters are made of: air, nitrogen, helium, and air-, nitrogen-, and helium-based mixtures. The goal is ensure the required quality of the processing medium. The filtering begins the moment the gases arrive and can be used at pneumatic-hydraulic systems, above-ground complexes, and other facilities, including space vehicles. In order to ensure efficient filtering, CentroTech uses high-strength metal-ceramic filtering components made from ultra-disperse sintered powder and the casing made from corrosion-resistant steel.
