Sverdlovsk Region, Chelyabinsk Region Have Russia’s Most Polluted Soil

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 5, 2019. Sverdlovsk Region and Chelyabinsk Region are now on the list of Russian constituencies with the most polluted soil, Russia’s Nature Ministry’s report On the Russian Federation’s Environment & Environmental Protection in 2018 states.

Saint Petersburg, North Ossetia, Primorsky Territory, Novgorod Region, and Murmansk Region are also on the list.

According to the report, Abakan, Angarsk, Barnaul, Irkutsk, Kransoyarsk, Kyzyl, Novokuznetsk, and Norilsk are also listed as the Russian cities with the most polluted air.
