April 5, 2013. The sales of homes in the second section of Volgograd’s Novy Svet District took off on April 1, 2013. The district is being put up by Sinara-Development, Sinara Group’s PR Center reports. Novy Svet District is a multi-faceted area development project with the area of 6.8 hectares around Volgograd State Agricultural University. The project provides for the construction of 13 multi-storey buildings (5 and 9 storeys) with the total area of more than 100,000 sq m. The first block of the buildings includes four 5-storey apartment buildings with the total area of 20,500 sq m and is expected to be commissioned before the end of this year. The second block of buildings provides for the construction of four 9-storey, two-section buildings with the total area of 33,000 sq m. Every nine-storey buildings will comprise 70 mini-studios, 54 studios, and 36 one-bedroom apartments. The first two buildings from the second block are supposed to be commissioned in late 2014. The multi-faceted development of Novy Svet District includes putting up social infrastructure, recreation areas, a kindergarten, and a number of playgrounds for children and sports grounds.
