Ural Airlines offers flight & hotel package for Saint Petersburg

Ural Airlines launched a new offer on April 21, 2008: the company’s customers can now fly to Saint Petersburg and have a hotel booking at the same time. This saves you a bit of money, since the package covers a flight from Yekaterinburg to Saint Petersburg and back and a one- to three-day stay at a single or double room at Azimuth hotel (breakfast included). ROSNO holds conference on medical insurance

Governor puts down Sverdlovsk Region railways

Governor of Sverdlovsk Region Eduard Rossel chaired a meeting devoted to the efficiency of the cooperation agreement the region’s government signed with Russian Railways Public Company on December 20, 2008. The meeting was attended by President of Russian Railways Public Company Vladimir Yakunin. The Governor spoke on the problems the railway needed to solve. The volume of engineering work had to go up 40% in 2008 and 319 kilometers of railways had to be repaired. Federal Antimonopoly Service sues Sverdlovsk Gubernskiy Bank for violating advertising laws

Sverdlovsk Region’s division of Federal Antimonopoly Service filed a complaint against Sverdlovsk Gubernskiy Bank, claiming the latter has violated the current federal legislation on advertising, the spokesperson for the Service reports. According to the spokesperson, the ad related to the bank’s automobile and truck loans allegedly violates Articles 28 (part 3) and 5 (part 7) of the federal bill.

Sberbank’s Ural branch’s balance sheet total exceeds 385 billion RUR

The balance sheet total of Sberbank’s Ural branch rose by 47 billion RUR, or 14%, in the first quarter of 2008. The volume of the bank’s net assets has increased by 10% since the beginning of the year and reached 309 billion RUR on April 1, 2008. In addition, the bank’s net assets came to 2.5 billion RUR in January-March 2008, which is 1.7 times better than a year earlier. Strike at SUBR stopped, UC RUSAL says

GRAN Commercial Bank closes down

Three Russian banks have finally merged with Kaliningrad-based Investbank (registration number 107); these are: Moscow-based Conversbank (registration number 122), Voronezh-based Voronezhprombank (registration number 562), and Yekaterinburg-based GRAN Commercial Bank (registration number 1125). The Central Bank of Russia has officially confirmed these banks’ liquidation and annulled GRAN Bank’s registration through order 2083900013041 on April 15, 2008.
