Ural Airlines to switch to summer timetable

17.03.2009
Ural Airlines is going to switch to its summer timetable early on March 29, 2009. This season, there will be more domestic flights and some new flights bound for the CIS will be launched into the bargain. For one, a Saint Petersburg-Gyandzha (Azerbaijan), a Perm-Dushanbe (Tajikistan) and an Irkutsk-Dushanbe flight will be introduced this summer.

In addition, the carrier will be operating additional Yekaterinburg-Krasnoyarsk, Krasnoyarsk-Novosibirsk, and Norilsk-Sochi flights as well as the Novosibirsk-Moscow one.

During the summer period, the company will offer its Yekaterinburg-based customers the usual flights to Anapa and Simferopol as well as almost daily flights to Sochi and two flights to Mineralniye Vody and Krasnodar twice a week.

As for the international flights, Ural Airlines will keep on operating flights to Munich, Prague, and Dubai as well as to Tel Aviv and Barcelona.

As far as the traditional summer holiday destinations are concerned, Ural Airlines will be flying its passengers from Yekaterinburg to Larnaka, Saloniki, Iraklion, Pula, Tivat, Varna, Burgas, and Antalya. In addition, weekly flights to Milan and Düsseldorf will be launched this summer, the company’s press officer reports.

Some of the flights will be operated using the A 321 aircraft (fit for 208 passengers) that are to join the airline’s ‘car park’ this summer season.

The tickets for all of the destinations can be picked up in any booking office; all the details and prices can be checked at the company’s website or via the passenger support service (8 800 2000 262).

In the meantime, the carrier prolonged its special offer – low prices for plane tickets to southern Russian cities – until April 1, 2009.
