Ural Turbine Works CJSC undergoes scheduled inspection for compliance with EnCERTICO standards

16.06.2006
Ural Turbine Works CJSC (part of Renova Group) has successfully undergone scheduled inspection for compliance of its production with EnCERTICO power industry certification standards. The company initially received the corresponding set of documents in 2005 when the certificating body confirmed the outstanding level of the company’s technological and organizational achievements as well as professionalism of the staff and production and service safety.

‘While undergoing the certification, we went through all the most thorough testing, and our produce was estimated very highly by a number of independent experts. Now, as the certification system presupposes, we are to prove compliance with the standard every year. In order to do so, we’ve been controlling the quality of our goods not only at the initial stage when we get the component parts but throughout the whole production process. Meeting the quality management requirements is every employee’s top priority,’ said Director of Licensing Department Valeriy Agrikov.

In addition, The Company is expected to successfully undergo the scheduled auditing procedures to be carried out by British Standards Institution next week. The auditing is aimed at proving the company’s quality management system compliance with ISO 9001 requirements set in 2005. The auditing will touch upon all areas of the business, including design, development, production, supplies, assembling and servicing of steam turbines, gas-turbine units, and spare parts and will be performed on the basis of a special quality management system assessment plan
