MegaFon Takes14,000+ Employees Online

22.04.2020
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 22, 2020. The telecom company MegaFon designed a range of new services to ensure employees’ access to company resources online. This has made it possible to convert 14,000+ employees to an online work format without any damage to business processes.

Within the first days of the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, MegaFon offered small and medium enterprises free access to an online conference/webinar platform. This meant the company’s customers could stay in touch with their staff. These businesses now need comprehensive solutions that will enable them to go on working remotely for a prolonged period.

‘We do our best to stay aware of businesses’ needs and are trying to come up with the most convenient solutions that will help them keep working under current unprecedented circumstances. Through our VDI and RDS services, more than 14,000 MegaFon employees can now work from home. This only took our IT team a couple of days, and we are quite prepared to help our customers do the same. I’m positive these solutions will still stay relevant even after this enforced self-isolation is over: the data will be stored safely on a virtual server, while workers will be able to access their desktops from anywhere in the world using their computers, phones, or tablets,’ says CEO MegaFon Gevork Vermishyan.
