PNTZ: 9 Workers Get State Awards

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 14, 2020. Nine employees of ChelPipe Group’s member enterprise Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) received state awards for their contribution to the metallurgical field, many years of conscientious performance, and work achievements. The executive orders to this effect were signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the Group’s press service, four workers were granted the titles of Russia’s Honored Metallurgist. These are Head of the Weld-Less Pipe-Manufacturing Department Vitaliy Vert, Foreman at Pipe-Rolling Department Zinatulla Vakhitov, hot-roller Sergey Krasheninin, and cold-roller at Pipe-Drawing Department Valeriy Kulnev.

Section Manager at PNTZ Pipe-Rolling Deparment Vladimir Starogorodtsev was given Medal of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland (Grade I); pipe-drawer Vassily Glukharev, repair technician Yakov Kovalev, maintenance foreman Dmitri Sazonov, and crane operator Marina Chusova were given Medals of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland (Grade II).

The state’s acknowledgement of their efforts is a reason to be proud of our coworkers’ impressive contribution to the Russian metallurgical sector. I congratulate my fellow workers on their well-deserved awards!’ says Managing Director at Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant Alexei Dronov.

Thirty-nine employees at PNTZ have received state awards in the last five years. Eight workers were granted the titles of Russia’s Honored Metallurgist and twenty-five people were given Medals of the Order For Merit to the Fatherland.
