The company implemented 69 green projects last year alone, and keeps working on 15 more projects. MMK invested RUB 6.464bn in environmental programs in 2018 and over RUB 58bn in 2000-2018. As a result, the company’s gross air emissions dropped by 1.6 times (specific emissions dropped by 2.1 times) and its gross water pollution discharge declined by 2.4 times. At the moment, 100% of our manufacturing water gets recycled,’ the plant says.
