Lysva Metallurgical Plants Trade Union Delegates Come to MMK

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, December 7, 2018. A group of Lysva Metallurgical Plants trade union delegates paid a visit to Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK), MMKs Information & PR Department reports.

Lysva Metallurgical Plant became a member of MMK Groups large production chain around a year ago. The new owner brought the long-expected changes that touched upon every aspect of the plants operation from production issues to management system.

The trade union representatives, who lead the plants social life, went to see their MMK counterparts for an experience-sharing session.

Visitors from Perm Territory were interested in the organization of trade unions work on job safety, social partnership, information policy, and general coordination routines. MMK trade union members spoke about the mechanisms and polices they use in their everyday operation and presented their ERP project on Resource Logistics and My Trade Union mobile app.

Additionally, Lysva Metallurgical Plants delegates had a guided tour of MMKs production site and social infrastructure facilities, where they could see for themselves how a trade union and an employer can work together. Chair of MMK Lysva Metallurgical Plants trade union committee Andrei Golovlev thanked Chair of MMK Groups trade union Boris Semyonov and all the other trade union members for their hospitality and the productive collaboration throughout their visit.
