UrBC, Pervouralsk, August 13, 2018. The NGO Gorod Pervykh activists and workers of Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant (PNTZ) cooperated to restore F.A. Danilov Well next to Europe-Asia Obelisk in Pervouralsk, PNTZ press service reports. Thanks to the volunteers’ and PNTZ employees’ joint efforts, there is now one more recreational area with a drinkable water source in Pervouralsk. ‘Gorod Pervykh keeps growing almost by the hour: what started out as a few one-time environmental events now comes to look like a city-wide movement. I am positive we can build a strong team of like-minded activists and change our urban living for the better,’ says the NGO coordinator Evgeny Krylov. The well was set up in 2007, on the 100th birthday of Fedor A. Danilov, one of PNTZ’s legendary directors, an outstanding metallurgical expert, and Pervouralsk’s honorary resident. Вернуться назад |
