2 EVRAZ KGOK Employees Get State Awards

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, March 21, 2018. Sergey Kustikov, who works as excavator operator at EVRAZ Holding’s Kachkanar Ore Mining & Processing Enterprise (KGOK), and the plant’s pelletizing mill’s pellet mill operator Alexander Gofler received state awards; the awarding decree was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The awarding ceremony took place at the Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District’s office in Yekaterinburg.

According to EVRAZ Holding’s press service, Sergey D. Kustikov was given the medal of For Merit to The Fatherland Order (II).

‘Kustikov has been working for this company for over 26 years and is now foreman for a new-generation excavator team. He’s given induction courses as an experienced mentor to 23 plus young employees so far. Sergey Kustikov’s improvement proposals are all focused on improving produce quality, enhancing the plant’s economic efficiency, and improving working conditions,’ the press service says.

Pelletizing plant’s pellet mill operator Alexander N. Gofler was given the honorary title of Russia’s Honored Metallurgist. Gofler first came to work at the plant forty years ago and started out at the pellet shop. Gofler regularly comes up with equipment upgrade ideas and proposals on technology and produce quality improvements.

‘For one, Alexander Gofler suggested making a portable, sectional conveyor to pick up spillage. This made the entire cleanup process much safer. Gofler’s team has also remained great quality goods production leader for quite a while now,’ the press service says.
