UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 28, 2018. Students on ChTPZ Group’s Future of White Metallurgy Corporate Training Program won a dozen medals in Sverdlovsk Oblast round of the 6th blue-collar job championship WorldSkills Russia, the company press service reports.

First-year student Ignatiy Yevdokimov won gold in Industrial Mechanics & Assembly. Third-year student and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant’s measuring and control appliances and automation technician Artem Ulyanov got a gold medal in Wiring. A third-year student on ChTPZ Group’s training program and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant’s energy equipment repair technician Maxim Koryakin also won the first prize in Reverse Engineering.

‘Students on the Group’s training program have won a record number of medals this year: out of nineteen contestants on the team, twelve won some prizes. This shows what great professionals our future employees have trained to become. This also supports the earlier decision to list Pervouralsk Metallurgical School as one of the top hundred educational establishments within Russia’s Young Professionals Movement,’ says Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant’s Managing Director Alexei Dronov.
