SKB-Bank Supports Everyday Charity Project

22.02.2018
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, February 22, 2018. Kaluga Children’s Hospital received new equipment within the framework of SKB-Bank-supported Everyday Charity Project, the bank’s press service reports.

The equipment (a computer-aided four-way thromboelastometer and a year’s supply of chemical reagents) got handed over to the clinic on February 20, 2018. Kaluga’s doctors can now test patients’ blood for platelet count very fast and with very high precision. Based on the test results, a doctor can make an informed decision about further treatment.

The thromboelastometer and the reagents were purchased by Sinara Charity Fund with the money collected through SKB-Bank’s and Gazenergobank Kaluga’s Everyday Charity Program. The project enables both banks’ customers to direct money to charity through banking options. For one, SKB-Bank customers can donate money to charity using the interest they make on their Ordinary Miracle Deposit.
