31.10.2017
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 31, 2017. Sinara Group’s TMK CHERMET is now working on an investment project to upgrade its production site in Bataysk (a satellite town next to Rostov-on-Don), Sinara Group’s press service reports.

‘In 2018 and 2019, the production site’s capacity will increase by 30% and its concrete-coated space will expand to 1,600 m2; we’ll also purchase some extra equipment: mobile scrap metal loaders, heavy-duty trucks with fork lift devices, and tractor-semitrailers. This will result in 45 new jobs. The company intends to direct over RUR 100m to the initial stage of this investment project in Bataysk. The extra scrap metal thus collected will get sent to Taganrog Metallurgical Plant,’ the press service says.

According to TMK CHERMET Production Director Alexander Rozhnev, the company sees collecting more scrap metal in the South of Russia as a promising strategy.
