UrBC, Yekaterinburg, December 29, 2016. Twenty-six New Years Eve parties will be coordinated for children of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporations employees and everyone else in Nizhniy Tagil during this holiday season. 17,656 children will be given candy and chocolate as presents, the company press service reports.

An ice sculpture park was put up next to I.V. Okunev Culture Palace by order of Ural Vagon Zavod. This years theme is reminiscent of a special date for the Soviet film-making company Soyuzmultfilm (which was founded eighty years ago this year), so the thirteen ice sculptures represent famous and beloved characters from Soviet animation films: Winnie-the-Pooh, Karlsson-on-the-Roof, Three from Prostokvashino, Nu, Pogodi!, Cheburashka (Topple), and Mother For a Little Mammoth. Several tintamarresques are provided for special photo moments, as well as two-slope slides for the younger children. There are banners featuring the most memorable episodes from the animated series around the New Years tree. A little rooster, this years animal according to the Chinese zodiac, is the key feature of the park, the press service says.

Two shows will be presented to children and their parents at the corporations Culture Palace, with hundreds of amateur artists taking part in the performance.
