UrBC, Yekaterinburg, May 12, 2016. Electromachine (a member enterprise of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation) got its new invention, an electromagnetic contactor, patented by the Federal Intellectual Property Service, the company press service reports. Electromachine is currently working on the design, development, and market launch of the new product. This contactor type is more technologically advanced than its predecessor the pneumatic contactor, which the company now makes on a serial scale. ‘Pneumatic contactors contain mechanisms that make the whole thing bulkier and more expensive, whereas our promising contactor only needs electric power and no pneumatic drives,’ says Anton Okhotnikov, the Director-General of OpTech Ural (Electromachine’s daughter enterprise).
