Yekaterinburg: Land Prices Go up 18%

4.04.2016
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, April 4, 2016. The price of land went up by 5% in the last three months and by 18% in the last year, the real estate website N1.RU’s press service reports.

‘Land prices tend to go up in March when the gardening season begins, but last year they actually went down against January, from 65,400 RUR at the start of the year down to 60,900 RUR per 100m2 three months later,’ the press service says.

This year, prices rose by 5% in the first three months and currently come to 71,900 RUR per 100m2 on average. This is 18% more than one year earlier, when the figure was 60,900 RUR.

The priciest allotments are located in Yekaterinburg and come for 172, 800 RUR per 100m2, while patches on the outskirts heading for Sredneuralsk are for sale for 129,800 RUR, those in the direction of Verkhnyaya Pyshma are for sale for 118,000 RUR, and the cheapest locations near to Revda can be had for 39,100 RUR per 100m2.

‘While the demand for existing homes is still high, customers also grow increasingly interested in land allotments. Last year’s demand for these got toned down by the economic situation, but this year’s trends are the typical seasonal ones: the warmer it gets outside, the more interested potential customers are and the higher the price goes,’ says head of E1. Nedvizhimost Marina Grinemayer.
