Ural Vagon Zavod to send representatives to Nizhniy Tagil Public Chamber

29.01.2016
UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 29, 2016. Three representatives of Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation are going to become members of Nizhniy Tagil Public Chamber.

The company press service reports the candidates – Svetlana Aldushina and Vladimir Danilkin from the corporation’s youth club and Director of UBT-Ekologia – were supported by Nizhniy Tagil Duma deputies. Also, Mayor Sergei Nosov suggested six candidates himself, including Chair of Ural Vagon Zavod’s trade union Evgeny Lutokhin.

This is the first time this Public Chamber is called in Nizhniy Tagil; there will be eighteen members there all in all. Under the existing rules, the city mayor and the Duma can each support six candidates. The Duma deputies thought of seven people, so the candidate with the smallest number of votes did not make it to the chamber. The remaining six candidates were put forth by political parties, social, religious, professional, scientific, creative organizations and unions through submitting a protocol of the respective meeting.

’Since I mostly come in contact with young people, I am going to represent the young locals’ interests first and foremost. It is my plan to draw attention to youth issues and to find solutions to their problems that can be presented to the city council. I also intend to focus on Ural Vagon Zavod’s needs,’ Svetlana Aldushina says.
