LEPSE’s young managers get president program awards

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, June 26, 2015. Two young managers from LEPSE (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) were awarded certificates under the president managerial training program, the corporation’s press service reports.

The solemn awarding ceremony took place at Kirov Region Government’s office. The certificates were given out by Head of Kirov Region Government Administration Alexander Kutergin, who stressed that in the seventeen years from the moment it started, the program proved an effective instrument of government recruitment policy. 41 workers from Kirov Region were given the certificates this year.

The main idea behind the project is to create a pool of managerial human resources who could ensure the development of all the sectors of the country’s economy. The program applicants must be under forty and have a college degree and at least three years of managerial experience. LEPSE has been directing its young executives to the training since the day the program was launched. All in all, twenty-four managers have trained on the program, including Development Director Yuri Starkov, Production Director Konstantin Khantov, Mechanical Treatment Director Albert Khasanov, and quite a few other heads of departments.
