February 6, 2015. Sverdlovsk Region’s consumer price index was 4.7% in January 2015 and up 15.3% compared with January 2014, Sverdlovskstat reports. Food items grew 6.7% more expensive (22.8% against January 2014), alcohol grew 0.9% more expensive (13.3% compared with a year earlier), and non-food items and services grew 3.6% (9.9%) and 4.5% (15.3%) more expensive, respectively.
