November 7, 2015. Russia’s Industry Ministry invited Indian businesses to take part in the industrial exhibition Innoprom in Yekaterinburg next year, Governor of Sverdlovsk Region’s Information Policy Department reports.

The invitation was passed on to India’s respective ministries in New Delhi by Russia’s First Deputy Minister for Industry & Trade Gleb Nikitin in the course of the 20th intergovernmental Russian-Indian meeting on trade, economic, scientific, technological, and cultural cooperation.

‘We invite our Indian friends to take part in the international exhibition Innoprom 2015. I am particularly pleased to invite my work team collaborator, India’s Deputy Minister for Industry & Trade Mister Kant, to attend next year’s event in Yekaterinburg as the exhibition’s guest of honor,’ the press service quotes Gleb Nikitin as saying.

The Innoprom 2015 Exhibition will be held in Yekaterinburg on July 8-11. Russian President Vladimir Putin invited China to act as the partner country for the event. A memorandum of intent to this respect was signed in Moscow in mid-October. Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev and Li Keqiang, Premier of the People's Republic of China, were present at the memorandum-signing ceremony.
