Technosila gets trustee in bankruptcy

Moscow Arbitration Court ruled that OOO Technosila, a consumer electronics and white goods chain store, must undergo bankruptcy proceedings and appointed a trustee in bankruptcy for the insolvent company, RIA Novosti reports.
Justice Tatiana Potapova appointed Sergey Potapov, the director of one of the stores, for the position. The company’s insolvency case will be heard in court on December 23, 2010.
It was declared at the latest session that creditors laid a total of 8.8 billion RUR worth of claims against Technosila, whereas the chain store’s assets were estimated at 7.9 billion RUR.
Technosila’s trademark and some of its Moscow realty were arrested in April 2010.
Moscow Region Arbitration Court is also considering the claim laid by Nomos-Bank against Technosila and other SV Group’s enterprises at the moment. The plaintiff wants to be paid $60.45m, the sum of the defendant’s loan debt.
Technosila was first faced with the need to reorganize and get new proprietors because of its debts that ran up to $400-420m.
