23 September 2009 (11:02)

Ural Airlines has recently acquired one more Airbus А321 plane which is to become the company’s second A 321 aircraft now.

In addition to these planes, the carrier is also operating ten A 320 aircraft as well as a number of domestically produced ones.

The airline’s latest acquisition was earlier used by Kibris Turk Hava Yollari; this is a 198-seat airplane, with 16 business class seats and 182 economy class ones.

The Airbus airplanes are being used on operating lease for the time being, but Ural Airlines will start getting brand new aircraft in just a few years. The airline and the plane manufacturer signed a contract for the acquisition of seven new and unused Airbus planes in the fall of 2007.
