Yekaterinburg To Have 30,000 Paid Parking Slots by 2030

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, January 24, 2020. The number of paid parking slots in Yekaterinburg is expected to double by the end of 2020, Senior Expert at Yekaterinburg Council’s Transport & Urban Transit Committee’s Legal Department Alexander Vegner told reporters today. According to Vegner, there are 2,600+ paid parking slots in Yekaterinburg at the moment. 12,000 slots are expected to appear by 2025 and as many as 30,000 slots by 2030. ‘The introduction of paid parking space is mostly meant to improve the traffic situation.
