15 Hostels Close Down in Yekaterinburg after New Bill Comes into Effect

Fifteen hostels closed down in Yekaterinburg after the new federal ban on operating hostels in apartment buildings came into effect, business owner Alexei Karavayev announced at the Managers & Developers Guild's recent summit. There are now 67 hostels with 2,000 beds in Yekaterinburg all in all, with the average price at RUB 500 a night. Given these legislative changes, Karavayev said, the share of local home owners who started doing 24-hour rentals illegally has gone up. UBRD Helps Children Make Presents for Young Cancer Patients

Ural Airlines: New Zhukovsky-Budapest Flight
