Roskomnadzor Fines Google
UrBC, Moscow, July 22, 2019. Russia’s Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) says Google would have to pay a 700,000-ruble fine for failing to comply with the Russian legislation: the company did not remove unauthorized information (restricted-access data within the Russian Federation) from its search engine hits, Roskomnadzor’s press service reports. According to the service, their checks determined that Google search results still reveal more than 33% of web links banned by Roskomnadzor. A fine (RUB 700,000) was issued. The
