It appears that moisture tends to gather in their LED modules, which might result in a short circuit and heat release. Volkswagen Tiguan units will have to get fitted with two cable adjusters (one next to the driver’s seat and one next to the front passenger seat) with a built-in fuse between the power connection unit and the LED module in the glass panel that serves as the sliding sunroof.
