MMK to Spend RUR 5.5bn on Green Projects

UrBC, Magnitogorsk, June 25, 2018. Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) plans to invest some RUR 5.5bn in a number of environmental projects this year, which exceeds the figures for a year earlier by nearly 40%, Maxim Yurchenko from MMK’s Environmental Protection Lab said at a recent International/Local Environmental Protection Experience Conference in Lipetsk. ‘Yurchenko made a detailed report on MMK’s green projects at the conference. Ural Airlines Keep Saint Petersburg-Tbilisi Flight

Rosatom to Rebuild Clinic in Zarechny

Sverdlovsk Region: Gas Prices Up 9.1%

Retail price of gasoline rose by 9.1% on Sverdlovsk Region market in January-May 2018 compared with one year earlier and currently comes to RUR 40.8 per liter on average, deputy head of Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service’s Sverdlovsk Region division Ekaterina Vorobieva said at a press conference in Yekaterinburg today. According to Vorobieva, the average retail price came to RUR 35.4 per liter in the year 2016; the figure went up to RUR 37.4 in 2017 (up 5.6%).
