Western Siberia: Power Grids Get Ready for Fall/Winter

Power engineers working at Federal Grid Company United Energy Systems’ Western Siberia division are already getting ready for the fall and winter, the company press service reports. ‘We do everything necessary to prepare for every next heating season on a regular basis. Checks, repair and maintenance, and equipment replacement occur throughout the entire year. Most of the jobs get done in the warmer seasons,’ the press service says. Moscow Schools Look Into ChelPipe Group’s Experience

Yekaterinburg Becomes EXPO 2025 Finalist

Yekaterinburg (Russia), Osaka (Japan), and Baku (Azerbaijan) are now entering the final round of competing for the privilege of hosting World EXPO 2025; the hosting country will be selected in November 2018.
