Yekaterinburg: Housing Prices Up 1.9%

UrBC, Moscow, October 5, 2016. The price of a new home in Yekaterinburg rose by 1.9% in the course of nine months of the year and came to 3.912m RUR on average, Mir Kvartir reports. The average asking price of Yekaterinburg homes decreased by 0.9%, down to 68,716 RUR per m2, in the third quarter of the year, but this was still 0.6% more than on January 1, 2016. TMK Supplies Pipes for World Cup 2018 Facilities

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, October 5, 2016. Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) shipped a set of seamless pipes to Saransk, where they will be used to put up Mordovia Arena Stadium in time for the world football championship of 2018. According to the company’s PR Department, the contractor has received 210,000 kg of seamless pipes (diameter: 219mm and 426mm) made of 440C steel this year so far. This is not the first time TMK delivers pipes for Saransk stadium: the company also supplied 1,600,000 kg of pipes for the stadium’s metal frames last year. TMK has been supplying its produce for the

EVRAZ NTMK: 1,500 Workers Take Part in Civil Defense Drills

Some 1,500 employees of EVRAZ Holding’s Nizhniy Tagil Integrated Metallurgical Works (NTMK) took part in civil defense and emergency drills recently, EVRAZ Holding Ural’s press office reports. The drills took two days to complete and involved several of EVRAZ NTMK departments.
