FGC UES Upgrades Equipment at Yugra Substations

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 26, 2016. Rosset’s Federal Grid Company (FGC UES) replaced 396 insulation units at six power substations in Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Region/Yugra to ensure a more stable power supply to the oil and gas companies in Nizhnevartovsky District, FGC UES West Siberian press office reports. The new high-voltage equipment was installed at 500-kilowatt substation Trachukovskaya and 220-kilowatt substations Megion, Mirnaya, Kosmos, Mirazh, and Uryevskaya. Ural Airlines Offer Moscow-Bodrum Flight

Ural Airlines started operating a new, scheduled flight from Moscow to Bodrum this summer, the air carrier’s press service reports. ‘Moscow passengers left for Turkey on a comfortable Airbus 321 liner on August 25. This is the first scheduled flight we introduced after Russia-Turkey air connection was made available again. The flight will be operated every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Yekaterinburg Arena Gets Spectator Stands

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 26, 2016. Sinara Development, the general contractor for the reconstruction of Yekaterinburg Central Stadium (Yekaterinburg Arena) in time for the World Cup 2018, had the concrete frames for the northern and southern spectator stands assembled and installed on site, Sinara Group’s PR Center reports. The stands are meant to serve as fan sectors in the future. TMK Ships LDPs to Turkmenenergo

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 26, 2016. Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) shipped a set of large-diameter pipes to Turkmenistan’s Energy Ministry’s state-owned energy corporation Turkmenenergo. According to TMK press service, the shipment comprises over 17,000,000 kg of 720mm LDPs with corrosion-resistant outer coating. The pipes were made at TMK’s Volzhsky Pipe Plant. The LDPs are meant for the construction of a pipeline that will connect a new gas turbine power station near Mary in the Karakum Desert to the rest of the network. ChTZ Sends Crawlers to Taymyr

Six T10MB marsh crawler made at Ural Vagon Zavod Corporation’s Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant (ChTZ) were recently shipped to the Polar North by order of Taymyrgeofisika. The corporation’s press service reports the plant won a tender for the delivery of the crawlers; according to Sales Director for Ural and Siberian Federal Districts Artem Yezhov, the customers chose the marsh crawlers with stick shift transmission and D180 engine, which is the best option for harsh climates that has proved effective in the Polar North before.
