Kachkanar Hosts EVRAZ Cup Football Championship

Sverdlovsk Region: Healthcare Sector Loses 3,700 Workers

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, August 24, 2016. The number of people working in Sverdlovsk Region’s healthcare sector reached 64,162 in the first half of the year, Sverdlovskstat reports. This is, in fact, 5.8% less than last year’s 67,866 people in the industry. The number of college-educated doctors dropped from 14,606 down to 14,517 people, that of nurses from 40,945 down to 39,656 people, and that of paramedics from 12,102 down to 9,770 people.
