Against April 2015, the IPI dropped down by 9.4% in the fossil production sector, by 13.1% in the processing industry, and by 2.8% in the sector for production and distribution of electric power, natural gas, and water. Pipe Metallurgical Company/TMK and the Italian company SMS MEER S.p.A signed a contract for production and delivery of modern equipment needed for thermal treatment of weldless pipes, TMK PR Department reports.
