Customers complain of gas quality at filling stations

UrBC, Yekaterinburg, September 11, 2015. 172 inspections of gas-filling stations were carried out in Ural Federal District in the year 2015 so far; in 60% of cases, legal offenses relating to poor quality of fuel were detected. A year earlier, the percentage was 32%, Head of Rosstandard’s Ural division Svetlana Mikheyeva said at a press conference. Mikheyeva explained problems had to do with the chemical composition of the fuel and with the accompanying documents. 4,565,000 RUR worth of fines were imposed on the offenders, including 1.385,000 RUR worth of fines within Sverdlovsk Region.

Yekaterinburg gets 4 vacancies per job-seeker

The number of those officially registered as job-seekers in Yekaterinburg is four times less than that of vacancies advertised by local employers, the city council’s press service reports. ‘According to our statistical data, there are currently 5,405 people out of jobs in the city. Sverdlovsk Region’s residents owe power suppliers over 1bn RUR

Sverdlovsk Region’s residents now owe their electric power suppliers over 1bn RUR, EnergosbytPlus reports. ‘Over 650m RUR are unpaid electricity bills accumulated by 330,000 locals, including more than 5,000 inhabitants of Yekaterinburg,’ says the company’s Sverdlovsk Region Sales Director Alexei Sergeyev. The power supplier laid a total of 34m RUR worth of claims with courts; besides, 145 rounds of visits to debtors were carried out by the company representatives and court officers. Yekaterinburg commissions 660,000 m2 of housing

According to Sverdlovskstat, 1.543m m2 worth of new housing were commissioned in Sverdlovsk Region between January and August 2015, which exceeds the figures for a year earlier by 1.34 times. 660,000 m2 worth of housing were put up in Yekaterinburg, 112,000 m2 in Sysert, nearly 90,000 m2 in Beloyarsky, 68,000 m2 in Verkhnyaya Pyshma, 56,000 m2 in Berezovsky, over 45,000 m2 in Nizhniy Tagil, nearly 41,000 m2 in Pervouralsk, 37,000 m2 in Revda, Polevskoy, and Zarechny each, and 34,000 m2 in Kamensk Uralsky.

RAE 2015 results in military-themed tourist cluster agreement
