Ural Airlines offer extra flight to Prague for Hockey World Cup

March 19, 2015. Ural Airlines are launching an additional Yekaterinburg-Prague flight for the sake of the Russian national hockey team’s supporters who’d like to attend the world hockey championship, the airline’s press service reports. The extra flight will be operated on May 13, one day before the quarter-final games. The championship will be held in Prague and Ostrava, the Czech Republic, on May 1-17, 2015. ChTPZ Group to host WorldSkills Russia 2015

March 19, 2015. ChTPZ Group’s Training Center (as well as a number of other local sites) is going to host Sverdlovsk Region round of WorldSkills Russia 2015 on March 24-26. Candidates will compete in five categories: Mechatronics, Mobile Robotics, Operation of NPC turning machines, Operation of NPC mills, and Welding Technologies. Air forces to join V-Day Parade in Yekaterinburg

March 19, 2015. Head of Yekaterinburg Council Alexander Yakob held a V-Day Parade Committee meeting to look into preparations for the 70th anniversary of Russia winning the Great Patriotic War. According to the city council’s press service, the military parade in Yekaterinburg’s main square is traditionally the key celebration event. This year, the city council asked the Central Military District’s command to have their air forces join the parade. The military supported the idea, so, for the first time in Yekaterinburg’s history, aircraft will take place in the V-Day Parade on May 9, 2015.

MRSK Urala’s investment program shrinks 20%

March 19, 2015. MRSK Urala’s Board of Directors decided to cut the company’s investment program for this year as well as for the years 2016-2020. According to their data, overall capital investment will shrink by nearly 20% in 2015-2020, from 24.232bn RUR down to 19.417bn RUR (VAT excluded), Finam Investment Company reports. Capital investment will go down 21%, to 5.49bn RUR, in 2015, by 25.5%, to 4.06bn RUR, in 2016, by 15%, to 4.838bn RUR, in 2017, and by 18%, down to 5.03bn RUR, in 2018. Uralvagonzavod Corporation puts up two apartment buildings for employees

March 19, 2015. Uralvagonzavod Corporation put up two apartment buildings for its employees in Dzerzhinsky District of Nizhniy Tagil. The new homes are meant for highly skilled workers with useful specializations, blue-collar workers and employees from the new medical unit that is about to be completed. The apartments are turn-key ready and will be let to Uralvagonzavod’s employees from outside Sverdlovsk Region, the corporation’s press service reports.
