KULZ uses X-Rays for defect testing

Kamensk Uralsky Foundry Plant (KULZ, a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corporation) started using an industrial-purpose X-Ray device to test its aluminum and magnesium alloy castings for defects. Yekaterinburg’s official unemployment rate stands at 0.58%

Moody’s demotes Ural Federal District-based constituency

February 26, 2015. Moody’s demoted ratings of eleven Russian Federation constituencies, including one located in Ural Federal District, namely, Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous Region, RBC reports. META sells over 1,300,000,000 kg of scrap metal in 2014

February 25, 2015. META (a member enterprise of ChTPZ Group) sold 1,357,000,000 kg of scrap ferrous metal in 2014; this was 17% better than in 2013 (1,161,000,000 kg). Sverdlovsk Region industry at least 50% import-dependent
