Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s head plant gets Messer Enviro Tec exhaust device

June 18, 2014. A filtering exhaust device made by the Czech company Messer Enviro Tec is now being installed at Thermal Department 3 of Uralvagonzavod Corporation’s head plant. The capacity of the device is estimated at 20,000 m3 an hour. According to the corporation’s press service, another device is now being prepared for assembly and will be launched before the end of the year. Number of rooms in Sverdlovsk Region hotels drops by over 400 in 2013

June 18, 2014. According to the data provided by the federal statistics agencies, 329 hotels and similar types of accommodation operated in Yekaterinburg in late 2013, Sverdlovskstat’s press service reports. This number included 267 hotels (81.2% of all accommodation types), 43 furnished apartments (13.1%), 16 hostels (4.8%), 2 boarding houses (0.6%), and 1 other type of accommodation (0.3%). Yekaterinburg construction market to see dropping sales and profits

June 18, 2014. The ongoing economic crisis forced most large enterprises to cut their investment programs by 1.5 to 2 times. ChTZ-Uraltrac’s spare parts for tractors are shipped to Ukraine

June 18, 2014. ChTZ-Uraltrac (a member enterprise of Uralvagonzavod Corproration) shipped this year’s second batch of spare parts for B10M, T-170, and DET-250 tractors to its Ukrainian dealer Assol. The first shipment of parts and joints for the caterpillar track vehicles was made to Zaporozhe in the spring, the corporation’s press service reports. ‘The van loaded with 10,000 kg of goods, headed off to Vassilyevka across the Ukrainian state frontier. Uralvagonzavod Corporation takes part in Eurosatory 2014 in Paris

June 18, 2014. Uralvagonzavod Corporation is one of the 28 Russian companies that are taking part in Eurosatory 2014, the international arms, security technologies, and protection devices exhibition in Paris, the corporation’s press service reports. In Paris, the holding presented the military vehicles made at two of its member enterprises, Nizhniy Tagil-based Uralvagonzavod and Omsk-based KBTM.
