5 Uralvagonzavod workers get state awards

May 17, 2013. 5 employees of Uralvagonzavod Corporation's head plant were given high-profile state awards for their outstanding work achievements. They took part in the solemn awarding ceremony that took place in Plenipotentiary Representative of Russian Federation President in Ural Federal District's Yekaterinburg residence. SinTZ holds sports tournament for schools

May 17, 2013. Sinara Pipe Plant (SinTZ), a member of Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK), held 7th sports tournament for school students at Kamensk-Uralsky-based Olympus Sports Palace, the company's press service reports. Koltso Urala Bank: Inflation might exceed 6% by end of year

May 17, 2013. Inflation rates in Russia are not expected to exceed 6% by the end of the year, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov announced yesterday. Yekaterinburg gets road repair team

May 17, 2013. Yekaterinburg Council is setting up an ad hoc team that will be in charge of speeding up the coordination of all the road repair schedules and projects, the council's press officer reports. Experts from the council's respective committees, contractors' representatives, and road police officers will be meeting at the town hall through the summer road construction season every Tuesday in order to coordinate the closing and repair of roads. 12,000 Sverdlovsk Region residents can’t go abroad this year

May 17, 2013. The number of people who are not allowed to travel abroad because of their debts is growing every year. In 2009, 900 people were denied exit, in 2012 the figure rose to as many as 40,000 people. So far this year, 12,000 debtors were not allowed to leave Russia; their debts totaled to 7.5bn RUR altogether.
