Sverdlovsk Region Government: Reduced Emissions at Local Plants Caused by Dropping Outputs
Sverdlovsk Region-based Reftinskaya power station (the asset of Enel OGK-5) reduced its atmospheric emissions by 21.4% in 2011 compared with 2010 due to decreased electric power output, less heavy use of coal, and the need to stop power-generating unit 5 for reconstruction.
