Rosaviation to Decide on Avianova’s Certificate

Rosaviation will have to decide whether to renew Avianova’s aircraft operator certificate today, Kommersant reports. Head of the agency Alexander Neradko is to discuss the issue with the airline’s director Vladimir Gorbunov, Rosaviation states. Now Avianova’s current certificate (prolonged with ‘limitations’) will expire on August 29, 2011. The main certificate was valid through July 29, 2011 and had to be renewed until the year 2013, but Rosaviation only agreed to prolong this certificate by one month.

FAS Gives Preliminary Approval on Total Buying 20.5% in Yamal SPG

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service signed an agreement with Total Razvedka Razrabotka Yamal (Total’s Russia-based daughter enterprise) in compliance with the law on foreign investment in strategic organizations, which allowed the service to give the company a preliminary approval of the transaction that involves the French company buying a 20.5% stake in Yamal-SPG, the FAS reports through its press service.
