Ural Airlines is going to introduce additional flights from Yekaterinburg to Norilsk, Khabarovsk, Novosibirsk, and Yerevan as a special New Year offer. Pepsico wants to buy shareholding in Wimm Bill Dann

Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service received a petition from the American company PepsiCo regarding the possible acquisition of Wimm Bill Dann Foods, a Russian dairy foods manufacturer, RIA Novosti quotes FAS’s deputy head Andrei Tsyganov as reporting. The news of the upcoming transaction was announced on December 2, 2010. The company will probably be sold for $5.8bn. PepsiCo intends to buy a 66% shareholding in Wimm Bill Dann for $3.8bn first and will launch an offer for the acquisition of the remaining shares later. Rostourism: Russian carriers sell out nonexistent flights

Russian air carriers started selling tickets for the nonexistent flights to France, Rostourism reports. The agency warns the Russian tour operators against cooperating with such airlines that don’t actually have any permission to operate international chartered flights. According to Kommersant, the airlines in question are Orenburg Airlines and Moscovia that are allegedly acting on behalf of a tour operator Spectrum.
