Lando owes money to budget

ZAO Lando Auto Center was recently included in the list of companies that owe more than 1 million RUR to the Russian Federation budget; the data used were valid as of June 15, 2010. The news is now available via the official website of Sverdlovsk Region’s division of the Russian Federation Federal Tax Service. BNP Paribas suspected of unlawful advertising

On July 1, 2010, Sverdlovsk Region’s division of the Federal Antimonopoly Service is going to look in the case involving ZAO BNP Paribas Bank and OOO IncorMedia. The two companies are suspected of violating Article 18 of the Advertising Act, as they allegedly practiced sending out text messages with advertisements to mobile phone users without the subscribers’ consent, the FAS’s press officer told UrBC. In fact, the FAS earlier found L’Etoile cosmetics chain store, Limerence shopping center, and OAO Bank24.ru guilty of the same offense.

Case on Microsoft copyright infringement closed in Nizhniy Tagil

Chelyabinsk Region gets industrial land allotment list

Following Governor of Chelyabinsk Region Mikhail Yurevitch’s request, the Ministry for Economic Development prepared a list of land allotments that could serve as new industrial sites, the Governor told the reporters after a cabinet meeting. SKB-Bank pays off bond loan

OAO SKB-Bank paid the 12th coupon profit and fully retired its first bond issue. SKB-Bank first went through with its 1-billion-ruble bond issue at MICEX on June 21, 2007. Mikhail Fedorov was re-elected Rector of Ural State University of Economics (USUE) by 112 votes out of 119. The voting by secret ballot took place among the university conference delegates. Gazprombank’s net profit drops 81%

The net profit of OAO Gazprombank plunged by 81% in the year 2009 compared with the year 2008, that is, from 17.56 billion RUR down to 3.34 billion RUR. The bank explains these losses had to do with increased profit tax payments and greater foreign currency transaction expenses. In the latter case, the expenses partially grew because the bank’s foreign currency assets depreciated due to the growing ruble exchange rate. Ural Airlines and ALITALIA launch e-interline agreement

The electronic interline agreement signed by Ural Airlines (U6) and ALITALIA (AZ) now came in full effect. According to Ural Airlines’ press officer, a passenger can now get a single e-ticket for any connecting flights operated by both airlines. Evraz Group might stop Vitkovice Steel

Evraz Group might stop the steel production process at its Czech plant Vitkovice Steel on July 1, 2010. Evraz cannot seem to reach an agreement with ArcelorMittal Ostrava on crude iron prices, and crude iron is the primary raw material for steel production, Evraz representative explained to Kommersant.
