Uralskiy Val applies for bankruptcy again

The consumer electronics and white goods chain placed its insolvency application with Sverdlovsk Region Arbitration Court for the second time on September 28, 2009, the spokesperson for the court reports. According to the case papers, the company first applied for bankruptcy in July 2009 but then asked to stop all the legal procedures in September when the store thought they would be able to pay their creditors in full. The court agreed to do this on September 28, 2009; however, Uralskiy Val re-applied for bankruptcy on the same day.

Ural-Avstro-Invest might face trial

Sverdlovsk Region’s division of the Federal Antimonopoly Service is to meet on September 30, 2009 in order to look into the case of Euro-Asian Management Company, Intensivnik’s Premier Hotel and City Hotel, Yekaterinburg Tsentralniy Hotel, Grand Avenue Hotel, and Iset Hotel.
