Uralsvyazinform’s net profit goes down 27.5% in January-June 2008

The net profit of Uralsvyazinform, the telecommunications and Internet provider, went down by 27.5% in the first half of 2008 compared to a year earlier. Norilsk Nickel backs out of copper tender

Norilsk Nickel’s Board of Directors accepted Sergey Batekhin’s resignation and elected Vladimir Strzhalkovskiy the company’s General Director on August 9, 2008.
